I finally saw a wombat!

After what seems like forever, I'm back to recapping my Melbourne trip from last two years ago because I am an excellent procrastinator :)

The day began with a chilly morning. Colder than what I'm used to in Surabaya. It was nice though-- imagine Trawas but 3x colder.

Getting out of the warm bed was a struggle and everything I touched made it worse. I wasn't going to let the cold stop me though! Melbourne weather is known for its bipolar mood swings, so I was awaiting that warmth.

Breakfast at the holiday house was simple yet amazing. That's what happens when the people around you are excellent cooks ;)

Bacon, pancakes, maple syrup, and caramelized banana. Wait, let's not forget Melbourne coffee. We got our morning brew from Habitfuel.

After "brekky" as the Aussies say it, we headed to Healesville Sanctuary :D

It was nice and I finally saw a koala and most importantly, A WOMBAT.

After looking at animals, we went for some lunch. I had a meat pie and shared a vanilla slice. So delicious!!! Then we continued with our day and stopped by a couple of wineries. Here's what the view looked like:

Then we made a stop at my cousin's parents home near Healesville and took a walk with the neighbor's dog. It's so nice how everyone just knows each other and is super chill.

We headed home after this and had dinner at Samurai :) Japanese comfort food. I shared a katsu don (I think?) and had a green tea thick shake (it was thiccc). Also, I'm still not used to the hugeee portions of food here.
